Breast Cancer Awareness Month Fundraising

We’re dusting off our blog with this post in order to talk about an exciting initiative we’re launching this month. Throughout the entirety of October, we’ll be donating a portion of every sale to the National Breast Cancer Foundation! The NBCF is the gold standard in breast health education, early detection and offering support to those facing breast cancer. We’re proud to be supporting this organization and make our contribution towards closing the gap in cancer care.

We will be donating a portion of all sales, hosting or software, on both & that occur beginning October 1 through October 31, and will complete our contribution the first week of November.

We would encourage anyone that wishes to contribute to this organization to do so directly from the NBCF’s website.

We’re looking forward to the opportunity to support this outstanding organization and launch similar initiates in the future.

Introducing 100Gbps of DDoS Protection

On June 1, 2020 we announced we’re launching colocation services in Los Angeles, California. This was a new and exciting venture for Modern Solutions moving into the future. We’ve heard feedback from many and decided to expand our DDoS protection in Los Angeles to better serve the needs of each of our clients.

We are excited to announce that our Los Angeles services will now include 100Gbps layer 3, 4, and 7 DDoS protection with TCP and UDP filtering. This protection is gaming focused and is activated automatically over our network.

This newly upgraded protection allows servers of any kind to have ample protection for their game, web or voice server hosted on our Dedicated or VPS servers. For our colocation clients, this gives you some of the highest levels of DDoS protection found in the LAX Metro area.

Over the next few months, we will expand our DDoS protection to include our Dallas, TX location and cover all hosting services there. This Los Angeles and eventually Dallas DDoS protection will be included in all VPS, Dedicated and Colocation plans at no additional cost to each client. Existing clients will be migrated to this new DDoS protection over time.

Modern Solutions Announces Colocation

Dear Modern Solutions Community,

I am excited to announce Modern Solution’s newest product offering, Colocation in Los Angeles, California! As a company we have grown so much in the last three years, and we are now at the point where we have the ability to expand and target new markets while maintaining our core values and supporting all of our current customers on their endeavors. In this post I will outline briefly what this means for our company, as well as what Colocation is for those of you who are not familiar. This product will not apply to everyone, but is a big step in our company, and so we wanted to share it with our community.

To this point we have shipped all of our hardware to datacenters across the country in smaller colocation sizes (1U) and will continue to do so, but with the release of our new space in Los Angeles, we now have the ability to take greater control of our hardware and offer the ability for you to entrust us with yours. We have big plans to continue this expansion of colocation space in other places around the United States, always keeping in mind our central roots, but Los Angeles was the perfect spot to start. With the ability to support customers all across the US with low latency on our premium network, we now also are able to support those potential customers coming to us from the Asia Pacific.
